These albums should have been on the list. Due to the economy the blog has had to lay off numerous key people in each department and the content has suffered. Since my Rank-This-Over-That Coordinator and her entire staff are at a Rank This Convention, I'm not putting these in any order or deciding where on the list they should have been, only noting they were notable.
- Beach House: Teen Dream. Gar Underwood please forgive me for the oversight. A droning female voice, minimalism with complexity, a dream cycle for teens like us -- how could I have forgotten? In feeble defense of the Nominating Committee and Listen-to-This Manger, this album came out when the blog was on hiatus.
- Dum Dum Girls: I Will Be. This omission is the fault of the Party-and-Forget Foreperson, who is always forgetting to remind me of party albums.
- The Roots: How I Got Over. The Time-Lag-and-Delay Task Force Chair is getting called to my office on this. As soon as I get an office.
I'm sure other oversights will be discovered but I have a Blue Ribbon Panel on it now. Their report is due at the end of the year.
