This was one of the original experimental bands of the contemporary era. Art of Noise was the first group to alter samples with computers. Their famous album Who's Afraid of the Art of Noise was first issued in 1984. I know. We all know. It's going to be reissued in September. The hatred half the group ended up having for the other half shows they never should have worked together in the first place. But given their output, we forgive them.
