Last year's High Violet was a top ten album for me, actually my favorite at the half-way point. I missed on the Grammy nomination prediction, but the recording academy has to answer for that. This new tune was written for the movie Win Win and includes the wonderful Sharon Van Etten in backup. The National can give me ballad after ballad, something I haven't said about anyone since Springsteen stole "Thunder Road" from Johnny Cash.
