MILES OF TRANE: YES. Yesterday my doctor doubled my ACE inhibitor to try and get my blood pressure down. I probably could have just listened to this album because I'm pretty sure it dropped about 20 points as the soothing, sophisticated notes washed over me. Will Blue Cross deny my claim when I send in the download bill? Who cares? I get this fine classically inspired indie rock avant garde instrumental music to sooth my breast, savage though it never really was if you overlook the BP. Pitchfork is just a shade short of giving it an 8 out of 10, a level not to be sneezed at on one of the critical web sites I agree with most. Read their review for more interesting insights, but take advantage of the Lala one off free listen to decide if it's your style.
